Privacy Policy

Privacy Statement

Jerry Bones is firmly committed to protecting the privacy of our Clients and associates. The Company is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not share, sell, or otherwise distribute the financial or personal information of our Clients, or those who otherwise provide personal information to us, to any other persons or organizations in any way other than what is disclosed in this notice.

1. Data Collected

Who Has Access To Your Data?

If you are not a registered client for our site, there is no personal information we can retain or view regarding yourself.

If you are a client with a registered account, your personal information can be accessed by:

  • Our system administrators.
  • Our supporters when they (in order to provide support) need to get the information about the client accounts and access.

What do we do with collected information?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

Registration Data

If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

How do we get your consent for information?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

You are able to contact us at any time to withdraw your consent or erase your personal information from our system. Contact us at: info@jerrybones.co.uk

2. Payment Systems

Our store is hosted by Woocommerce. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Woocommerce data storage, databases and the general Woocommerce application. They store your data in a secure server behind a firewall.

The type of data that woocommerce holds is such as the data you provide when you fill in private information before securing an order. That is solely based on your billing and profile information. None of your bank details are stored through woocommerce as Jerry Bones Website does not use woocommerce as a pay-gate but only as an operating system for our store.

The preferred paygate for our store is Stripe. Stripe uses a secure HTTPS connection to make sure even the scrambled information cannot be intercepted.

After filling in your private billing details, you will be redirected to Stripes payment server. All your bank account information is safely secured on their encrypted system to process your order. To find out more, visit their compliance page.

3. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

4. How Long We Retain Your Data For

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

5. Security Measures

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personally identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.

6. Your Data Rights

General Rights

If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any of the personal data we have stored. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In short, we cannot erase data that is vital to you being an active customer (i.e. basic account information like an email address).
If you wish that all of your data be erased, we will no longer be able to offer you any support or other product-related services.
